Ingredients
| 1 c | butter | |
| 2 1/4 c | brown sugar | |
| 1/4 t | salt | |
| 1 c | Karo corn syrup, light | |
| 1 cn | sweetened condensed milk | |
| 1 t | vanilla extract |
Directions
Cook very slowly! Melt butter in heavy sauce pan Add brown sugar and salt Stir in syrup, mixing well Gradually add milk, stirring constantly Cook until candy reaches 240° F on candy thermometer or the firm ball stage Remove from heat Add vanilla Pour into well buttered pan - Line pan with parchment paper and just butter the sides on the pan Cool - cut and wrap
