Ingredients
| 1 c | shortening | |
| 1 1/2 c | sugar | |
| 2 ea | egg | |
| 2 3/4 c | flour, white | |
| 2 t | cream of tartar | |
| 1 t | baking soda | |
| 1/4 t | salt | |
| 2 T | sugar | |
| 2 t | cinnamon |
Directions
1) Mix shortening, 1.5 cup sugar, and eggs thoroughly 2) Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt and stir 3) Form into balls 4) Roll in sugar and cinnamon 5) Bake 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees on ungreased sheets
